Sanyo Denki is a Japanese company with more than 50 years of experience in the manufacture of automation devices. The RS1A01AAW is one of the many servo drivers from the reputable company; it is a highly precise and accurate positioning system that makes it suited for a wide range of applications such as injection molding machines, machine tools, machining centers, water jet cutters and lots more. The driver has a significantly reduced size compared to similar drives in other series; it also consumes up to 30 per cent less power. The input voltage supply that should be provided to this product is between 200 to about 300 volts; this voltage is delivered at an efficiency of about 50 to 60 hertz. The servo driver also operates with an input current of 2.5 amperes.

During operation, the RS1A01AAW output voltage is able to supply as high as 326 volts of power also, the output current of the product is 2.5 amperes. For each identification, each unit of this product carries a type label featuring important technical data about the drive; the CE and UL certification markings of the drive are also printed on the attached type label. There are two LEDs installed into the front of this product for operators to determine its power and charge status; there are also four small pressure-sensitive keys on the drive.

The housing design of the RS1A01AAW is not built for operation in harsh environments; the driver belongs to the IP20 category. The cooling of this product is efficiently carried out by special air blowers installed into the drive. Customers who desire to operate the drive without derating should ensure that it is installed at a height that is less than 1000 meters; the ambient temperature should also be less than 40 degrees.
