Product Description
The P50BA2003BCSPC is an industrial motor design with a boxed housing cage made from reinforced metallic material. The motor is designed by Sanyo Denki as part of its P5 super BL product series; it has a round output shaft and is supplied with connection cables it requires to communicate with other parts of the servo system. This motor design is able to reach an operating speed of about 3000 revolutions per minute; however, it requires a mains current supply of 2.7 amperes and a voltage supply of 24 volts. The normal power output produced by this compact motor design is approximately 25 watts. Although the P50BA2003BCSPC is an industrial product, it is not able to withstand extremely harsh operation conditions. The motor's housing is only able to prevent the penetration of large solid particles, and it offers no protection against liquid penetration.
The P50BA2003BCSPC motor design can be operated together with drive controllers, also manufactured by Sanyo Denki. Examples of compatible controllers used with this motor include amplifiers that belong to the PY and PY2 product series. There is a holding brake equipped with this motor; this brake requires a voltage supply of 24 volts. The holding brake is built to hold loads connected to the motor shaft in place when the motor is at a standstill.
The encoder present in the P50BA2003BCSPC is a wire-saved incremental encoder; it is extremely accurate and is responsible for the incredible precision of this motor series. Compared to conventional motor models with similar operational profiles, the P50BA2003BCSPC is up to 70 per cent smaller; it is a medium inertial product and does not require maintenance operation. No air blower is installed into the housing of the P50BA2003BCSPC; it controls its operation speed through a natural process of convection.
