Product Description

The Okuma BL-MH101E-12SB servomotor has a factory assigned torque rating. The servomotor is characterized by Class F insulation. This product is typically used in machine tools and packaging machinery. The device is designed to withstand extreme temperatures and can operate under harsh environmental conditions. Its motion profile is used to generate the appropriate motion profile for the motor. The unit provides positional feedback with the sensor in its associated drive controller. The motor comes with a continuous current of 5A. The product can turn by a maximum of 90° in one direction. The rotor in the device turns to the preferred position depending on the pulse duration sent to the control wire.

This servomotor is primarily of two types - AC and DC. An AC motor is equipped with the ability to handle high current surges making them best suited for industrial machinery. On the other hand, a DC motor is not recommended for use in places where there are high current surges. This makes these motors ideal for use in smaller applications. The AC servomotor often has several advantages when compared to the DC counterpart. It produces minimal noise during operation. The feedback incorporated by the product enhances its performance when compared to a stepper motor. This device is available with a year’s Wake Industrial warranty.

The product is generally intended to work only with drive controllers from the same manufacturer. This unit comes integrated with the controller, encoder and related electronics as a single package. The servomotor depicts 1200RPM speed and 164V voltage rating. The motor also 1.2kW output power rating. Its shaft position is determined by the width of the pulses generated. The product has three wires coming out of it. An AC servomotor renders maintenance-free operation when compared to a DC motor. This BL-MH101E-12SB motor is dispatched in custom military-grade packaging.
