The BL-80E-20 model is specially designed to take input power from a 154 VAC power source. The input power is supplied by the respective servo drive module. The BL servo motor housing is completely secured against liquids and dust particles as per the IP65 protection category. The BL model is suitable to be used under adverse climatic conditions. The motor operates at the rated speed of 2000 rpm, and it generates the rated power of 1.5 kW at its output shaft. The model has a taper output shaft and has 4 pole pairs which generate the rated torque of 73 kg-cm. At a standstill position, the motor generates the rated torque of 80 kg-cm. The insulation category of the servo motor is class-F and it operates at the continuous current of 7.5 A. The motor is a part of the QR series presented by Okuma and can be used with a 1-axis or 2-axis servo drive module. Due to its high protection category, the model offers maintenance-free operations, but predictive maintenance should be carried out to maintain its efficiency.

The model BL-80E-20 comes with control type-E and is widely used in CNC machines. As per the BL user manual, the servo motor must be installed under the following surrounding conditions 0 to +40 degree Celsius of rated temperature, 95% relative humidity range, and 1000 MSL maximum installation altitude. For absolute position detection, the BL servo motor is equipped with Okuma type-OSP encoder. The functions of this servo drive can be controlled via the 50A servo drive unit.
