The Kollmorgen 3EF-100 Mains EMI Filter is a high-performance filter used to reduce the levels of EMI/RFI interference in electrical equipment. It is designed to work with an operating voltage of up to 480V AC with a maximum current of up to 100 A to handle high power devices. Moreover, it is designed to be used with Kollmorgen S640 and S670 drives; hence, the filter harmonizes with the system appropriately. It works on a 50/60 Hz line frequency; therefore, it can be employed in a variety of sectors ranging from industrial to commercial.
This EMI filter is intended to operate under various industrial conditions with a maximum insulation resistance of 6000 M? at 100 VDC. It is well protected, and it can withstand a test voltage of 2250 VDC line to ground as well as 1450 VDC between the lines. It can handle short circuits with an overload capacity of six times the current rating for up to eight seconds. The leakage current is less than 0.50 mA at 115 V ac and 1.00 mA at 250 V ac, so it is ideal for applications where a low leakage current is critical.
