The CF-SS-S3HGE-06 is a sine-encoder feedback cable. The length of the cable is 06 meters. The CF-SS-S3HGE-06 cable can be ordered from Kollmorgen for use with its S300 product family. The CF-SS-S3HGE-06 cable has two connectors: a Euro IP65 connector and a 15-pin D sub connector which interfaces with the S300 drive. The S300 series of industrial drives offer many benefits including a wide power range, compact footprint which allows use of small cabinets or mounting close to the point of use and user-friendly graphical user interface. These features of the drive family lead to a reduced overall system cost. In addition to sine encoder, the S300 family of drives supports several other feedback options including resolver, single feedback cable, incremental encoder, ComCoder and incremental/sine encoder with Hall sensor.

Integrated communication interfaces that are available on S300 drives include RS-232, EtherCat and CANopen. The RS-232 interface can be used for drive programming from a Windows-based graphical user interface. Several optional communication modules can be ordered for S300 drives including SERCOS, DeviceNet, SynqNet and Profibus. Input voltage ratings supported by S300 drives include a wide range of voltages from 110 to 480 Volts AC. The drives support direct connection to 3-phase AC input at 50 / 60 Hertz. Output current ratings for S300 drives range from 1.5 to 10 Amps RMS per phase. The 230 Volts AC rated S300 drives are suitable for 200-millimeter switchgear cabinet. An integrated interface for stepper controller, electronic gearing and master-slave operation is available on the drives. Agency approvals for the drive family include CE, UL an cUL. Dimensions of the S300 drives (without connectors) are 246 millimeters height, 70 millimeters width and 171 millimeters depth.
