Product Description

The CTP33NLF47KAA00 compact-size step motor from Kollmorgen is one of several Cool Torque Performance motors in their CT series. The motor has a magnetic design with high-voltage insulation and rugged bearings. The device generates high torque for supporting big mechanical loads and also for compatibility with all types of high-performance, high-voltage, and/or standard drives. It is a good choice for various leadscrew and motion control applications. The step motor operates between -20°C and +40°C. The unit renders high reliability and fast design cycles.

The motor encompasses micro-stepping drives that split every step into multiple increments by controlling the DC magnitude in both windings. The movement of the motor shaft takes place by one step when the current in the windings is reversed. The device has a 10mH typical inductance rating, 4.7A current rating and 1.08 +/-10% Ohms resistance. It finishes 200 full steps in one complete revolution. The RoHS compliant motor has two phases, bipolar rating, and four lead connection style. The unit features NEMA Through Holes mounting configuration. The step motor has a straight keyway front shaft and 12 inches or #22AWG minimum length for its leads. There is no rear option. The insulation resistance is 100 Megaohms. The motor shaft can bear 100lbs. axial load in both directions. The motor is enclosed in an 8.5cm NEMA Size 34 square frame and weighs 4.1kgs. The device has 0.0555oz-in-S2 rotor inertia, 0.27Nm typical detent torque, and 11Nm motor torque when the motor is in mounting orientation. Four #6-32 ground screws are used on each corner of the square frame for fixing the motor in place after it has been mounted.
