The CTM33NLS23KAA00 is a CTM enhanced series step motor designed and manufactured by Kollmorgen. It has unique features such as enhanced magnets between stator teeth which help in delivering an extra torque of 25 percent at all speeds. It supports smaller power supplies and drives. Additionally, its aluminum shell and end-caps help in timely cooling. This helps the motor to handle machines with a higher throughput without the need to increase the size and extends its service life.

With the presence of high voltage insulation, the motor has a higher reliability. Its large bearing system is excellent for leadscrew applications and lowers machine costs. The CTM33NLS23KAA00 has a frame size of 5.7 inches, supports NEMA mounting through holes, and supports six connections. Other features that distinguish CTM series motors in the market include being computer-controlled, small air gap, large rotor diameter, and high energy rotor magnets. With these crucial features, the motor uses less energy. For operation, the motor’s two windings are energized with a direct current.
