The CTM Series of motors is characterized by its new cooling aluminum shell and aluminum endcaps which serve to remove heat from the motor and extend its working life and performance significantly. When the CTM Motors are mounted, the cooling shell is able to contribute towards higher current and torque ratings, serving higher efficiency levels at even higher speeds. The unique feature of Kollmorgen’s CTM motors is that they produce the same torque at lower temperatures, allowing them to serve for an extensive period of time with no repairs, allowing faster and higher output machinery in compact sizes that can be easily stored in factories.

Kollmorgen’s CTM21NLS12NAA00 is part of the CTM Cool Torque Maximum Series and features an impressive frame size of 23 / 5.7cm. The CTM21NLS12NAA00 has a basic 1 stack length and has a NEMA Mounting through holes, making it suitable for compact spaces inside a factory. The CTM21NLS12NAA00 motor requires leads for connection purposes and features six different connection points. Kollmorgen’s CTM21NLS12NAA00 has a winding current of 1.2 Amps as well as a round smooth front shaft option which is limited to the size 23 motors only. Additionally, the CTM21NLS12NAA00 is a standard motor with factory specifications and no customizations.
