Product Description

Kollmorgen offers a broad range of energy-efficient servo amplifiers, servo motors, and drive converters to their clients. The company products are extensively used in various motion control systems.

The 65WKS-M310/6-PO model is designed and manufactured by Kollmorgen to control the speed and torque of the synchronous servo motors. The 65kWS servo amplifier should only be installed as a component in the electrical equipment specified by the supplier. The model comes with an AC 3 × 80 – 220 V power supply module that takes power from the main voltage line and converts it into a 310 V dc-link voltage. The DC voltage is then supplied to operate the servo amplifier. The unit consumes at the rated current of 6 A. The 65KWS servo amplifier is not suitable for a continuous braking operation. Due to its IP00 protection category, the module should be installed in a closed switchgear cabinet for appropriate protection. Resolver feedback is placed in this unit for position detection. A PI controller is also used in this model to control the speed and current of the servo motor. The amplifier is completely protected against overvoltage, under-voltage, and short-circuits. To control the ambient temperature of the unit, a temperature monitoring sensor is also placed in this unit.

The model 65WKS-M310/6-PO undergoes the maximum power loss of 50 W during continuous operations. The overall weight of the unit is 2 kg. Only highly trained staff is allowed to operate the servo amplifier. The ambient temperature range for this unit is 0 to +45 degree Celsius, without a reduction in rated data.
