The VSB40.1G4E-1G0NN-C1D-AN-NN-FW is a high quality industrial PC that can be used in combination with the VDP 16, VDP 40, and VDP 60 display terminals to construct complete operator terminal units. Depending upon the application and configuration, the device can be used for control functions as well. This model has multiple connectivity options due to a variety of interfaces that can be integrated with it. A serial interface (RS232) can be connected with this device. The system also supports connectivity with the GIGASTAR interface. A port for a parallel interface is also provided that supports SPP, ECP-mode, and EPP. The Ethernet network connection is supported with this model. There is also a provision for a VGA connection of an external CRT monitor. The suitable display units for this system are the VDP 16, VDP 40, and VDP 60 which can be integrated with the system via the GIGASTAR interface.

The VSB40.1G4E-1G0NN-C1D-AN-NN-FW, once connected with the suitable display units, can display up to 30 meters away from the PC. The displays come with a touchscreen or keyboard. The system uses the Celeron processor that has a minimum clock speed of 2 GHz to facilitate fast paced processing. The device has a main memory of 512 MB. A 20 GB hard disc is also installed on the device. There are two USB ports and six PCI slots with this device.
