The VPP16.1BKA-512NN-M1C-BN-NN-FW is a PC-based operator terminal that is used with industrial machinery for digital control applications. The operator terminal has been designed to work in conjunction with various external platforms. It has many interfacing options that allow connection with other devices and enables data transfer. This model has two to three 9-pin D-sub, standard serial interfaces. Besides the RS232 interface, the device also has a standard RS485 interface. There is a single parallel interface along with an interface for an external VGA connection. An external mouse and keyboard can also be connected with the operator panel. It is also possible to connect an external battery with the system. The device also has two USB ports. The maximum power requirement of this device is 200 W. For device variants with a PROFIBUS DP slave, there is a PROFIBUS DP slave interface also available.
