The VPP16.1BKA-1G0PS-M1C-BN-NN-FW is an operator panel produced for machine control applications. The device has been designed with a 5 mm thick aluminum panel and the edges have been kept beveled to avoid sharp edges. There are multiple plug-in cards that are used with this operator panel to expand its operational categories. The device is also provided with a USB interface. The system comes with a 12-inch display with a TFT screen. The display resolution is very sharp (800 x 600 pixels) and comes with 256,000 colors. The outer enclosure has been painted with the RAL 7035 grey color. The front panel is fully protected in accordance with the IP 65 standard protection. This means that the system is protected against debris, dust particles, other harmful agents.

The VPP16.1BKA-1G0PS-M1C-BN-NN-FW comes with a CMOS battery that can serve between 5 to 7 years depending upon the ambient temperature.  The display also has a backlight that is designed to serve for up to 40,000 hours when the surrounding air is at room temperature. There are multiple interfacing options available with this system. The device has a single Ethernet connection (RJ 45), an external battery connection, two to three standard RS232 serial interfaces, one mouse connection, two USB connections, and an external VGA connection. If a type A PC box is used with the system, then two PCI slots are available. The maximum power consumption of this battery is restricted at 200 W.
