The TFM 3.1-050-300-W1-220 variable frequency drive is a part of the TFM drives from Rexroth Indramat. The variable frequency drive has a 300VDC bus voltage and a nominal 200VAC voltage rating for its heatsink blower. The Version 1 device functions as a drive controller for controlling the torque and speed of AC motors to change their electrical supply by making changes to the input voltage and frequency. The accessory with a one-year warranty can be shipped to any address in the world through any of the various reputed delivery agents.

The variable frequency drive has 50A current rating. The intermediate circuit in this drive conditions the rectified DC supply using capacitors and inductors through stripping and filtering. This removes the left-over AC residues and harmonics that are not removed by the input converter and makes the motor output completely ripple-free. In simple applications, the unit is interfaced with a transducer like a flow rate monitor or a pressure sensor and is programmed to have a preset value. The accessory is capable of restricting the torque to a user-specified limit to avoid damage to driven equipment due to excess torque.
