The Bosch TCM 2.1-02-7 is an additional capacitor module for power supplies used in AC drive systems from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. The TCM 2.1-02-7 has 2 mF capacitance and is used with KVT power supply for the reduction of noise in the mains power supply. The TCM 2.1-02-7 is specifically used for the applications where link circuit power goes up to 30 kW. As per recommendations from Bosch a cable with maximum 10 mm² wire size should be used for termination on the TCM 2.1-02-7. Approximate shipping weight of the capacitor module is 7 kilograms. Approximate dimensions of the IP10 rated module enclosure are 355 millimeters x 208 millimeters x 100 millimeters. The TCM 2.1-02-7 can be used with other accessories such as smoothing and commutation chokes and bridge capacitors to adapt the performance of the power supply to suit the demands of the application.

For performance as per manufacturer specifications, the minimum temperature in the vicinity of an operating TCM 2.1-02-7 should be 41 degrees Fahrenheit and the maximum temperature should be 113 degrees Fahrenheit. When the module is not being used or is being transported the minimum temperature of the surrounding air should be -22 degrees Fahrenheit and the maximum temperature should be 185 degrees Fahrenheit. The AC drive power supply and its associated accessories including the TCM 2.1-02-7 should not be installed above 1000 m altitude as doing so will lead to derating and performance degradation. Relative humidity around an operating TCM 2.1-02-7 should be maintained so that it is less than or equal to 95%. Installation of the capacitor module should only be carried out by trained and experienced personnel to minimize the risk of injury and equipment damage.
