The SM 15/30-TC1 is a modular servo inverter produced by highly trained engineers of the reputable Bosch Rexroth Indramat to improve industrial automation by ensuring the accurate control of the speed, position and torque output of industrial servo motors. This servo inverter is designed to be used together with the SD industrial motor series. The combination of the inverter with a compatible servo motor forms a rapid response system perfect for production and processing applications. The SM 15/30-TC1 servo inverter is designed according to the IP20 protection category, to ensure optimum protection, it should be installed into a closed control cabinet that can provide a minimum protection that meets the IP54 protection class.

The SM 15/30-TC1 inverter also features a built-in air blower that maintains ventilation and prevents built-up of heat in the control cabinet, the inverter should be installed vertically to aid air ventilation. Up to three SD motors can be operated with the SM 15/30-TC1 modular servo inverter at once, however this is only possible through the ?Axis Switching? module which ensures that no more than one axis is selected at one time. Other optional modules that can be used with this servo inverter include the option start-up switching module, option tacho and stall monitoring, and the option ramp generator.

The permissible ambient temperature for the operation of the servo module falls between -0 to 50 degrees, while the maximum installation height is 1000 meters above sea level. The configuration, installation, and general handling of this industrial servo inverter is intended to very easy and straightforward, operator can easily monitor the status of the inverter through the LED displays integrated into its front panel.
