The SM 15/30 is a sophisticated servo inverter produced by Bosch Rexroth Indrama to ensure the accurate control of servo motors operating in the industrial servo system. The servo inverter is designed according to international quality standards, it is perfectly safe for operation and can be used in a wide range of machines. The servo inverter features an housing that provides protection according to the IP20 protection category, however before operation the module should be installed into a closed control cabinet that can meet at least the IP54 protection. Special Light Emitting Didoes are integrated into the front panel of the module, this display units allows operators to monitor the operation status of the servo inverter in real time.

The SM 15/30 servo inverter contains a built-in fan that protects it from overvoltage damage by dissipated the excess heat generated in the module through forced ventilation. The supply input voltage required by this servo inverter during operation is 380 to 415 volts, the module can also requires an input current of 15 amperes. The SM 15/30 servo inverter is intended to be used with the SD Bosch Servodyn motor series, the combination of the inverter and the module forms a rapid response automation system that can meet the operation requirements of various industrial applications including robotic machines, and transfer facilities.

The SM 15/30 servo inverter should be used at an ambient temperature that falls between -25 to 55 degree celsuis, also the maximum permissible installation for the inverter is about 1000 meters above sea level. The servo inverter should be installed vertically to allow for the easy circulation of air around the control cabinet.
