The Bosch Rexroth RZP01.1-L1 is an optional SynchroLink module for RD 500 systems. The main function of Synchrolink is to synchronize AC drives. This allows time sectors of all drives to be synchronized. This module can only be used for RD52 series drives with a control card version SR17002 08 SP 08 or higher. It is rated for 24 Volts DC external power supply. The supply to the module can have maximum 5% ripple as per VDE 0411/500. The external power supply should be capable of providing 5 Watts of power. Dimensions of the module are 107 x 87 millimeters. The environmental class of the RZP01.1-L1 module is 3K3 according to DIN IEC 721-3-3. For module storage the temperature range recommended by Bosch is -25 to 70 degrees Celsius. For module operation the temperature range recommended by Bosch is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.

The radio interference suppression level of the module is compliant with EN 55011. The noise immunity offered by the module is compliant with EN 50082-2. The RZP01.1-L1 module is automatically identified and supported on the two option slots on the drive control card. These slots are module slot 1 or 2 on the control card. The connections on the Synchrolink card are visible after the card has been inserted on the drive control card and the front cover has been removed. Two RZP01.1-L1 cards cannot be inserted in the drive control card. The number of nodes on a Synchrolink network is limited to 16. Fiber optic cables of varying lengths are available for the Synchrolink connection: 0.3 meter, 1 meter, 2.5 meter, 3 meter, 4 meter, 5 meter and 10 meter cable are available.
