Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is a pioneer manufacturer of state-of-the-art solutions for machinery and engineering applications. One of their innovative families of drive and motor control products is the REFUdrive 500 series of AC drive systems. The REFUdrive 500 drive system is made up of AC drive converters, DC inverters, rectifiers, and regenerative drive converters. All these units are easily wired in a cabinet for a compact design and to promote simple handling. The RS51.1-4G-031-V-NN-FW is a basic drive model in this series, which also uses the U/f curve control method.
The design of the RS51.1-4G-031-V-NN-FW supports cooling at the rear and safe ventilation for each unit outside the cabinet. It utilizes a three-phase, input nominal connecting voltage between 380V AC and 480V AC (±
10%). It is equipped with a built-in brake chopper with a continuous power rating of 24.8kW. It also has an in-built braking resistor with a minimum resistance of 12 Ohms. The recommended cooling airflow of the RS51.1-4G-031-V-NN-FW is 0.3m3/s, and the ideal ambient temperature for its operation is between 0oC and 40oC. Its Ingress Protection rating is IP 20 according to EN 60529 demands.
