The RS51.1-4G-031-S-NN-FW is a new generation device designed by Rexroth Indramat to control the speed, acceleration, and general operation of synchronous and induction motors used in industrial production systems. This controller is a sophisticated device that connects with different sensors, which it uses to monitor the physical operation of the motor in real time; thus, the controller can independently correct any deviation of the motor from the parameters pre-determined by the operator. The enclosure of this controller is designed according to the IP20 protection class. For optimum protection, this controller should be installed in an external cabinet that provides it with protection that meets at least the IP56 protection class.

This industrial controller features a three-phase electrical connector through which it receives electrical energy from the power supply system; also, the rated current required by the RS51.1-4G-031-S-NN-FW controller for optimum operation is 56 amperes. Under normal operation conditions, the leakage current produced by the electrical components of this controller is about 3.5 milliamperes; thus, operators should ensure the controller is securely grounded before operation. The heat generated by this controller is controlled by natural convection; thus, it should be installed with a clearance of about 80 millimeters and in a position that exposes it to cool air.

The RS51.1-4G-031-S-NN-FW industrial controller can operate with a nominal connecting voltage that falls between 380 to about 480 volts, it can also stimulate industrial motors to generate a rated power output of about 31 kilowatts. Integrated into the front panel of this controller is a user panel that is made up of a four-line graphical display unit and about six pressure-sensitive keys through which operators can send commands into the controller.  This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
