The RD 500 series comprises several models of drive control devices, such as the RD52 field-oriented regulation units. In general, RD52 units are designed for use with induction/synchronous motors. The RD52.1-4B-160-R-W1-FW/S130 belongs to this series, and it features a type-1 design. It is a converter-type drive control device with a 3-phase connection voltage of 380 – 480 Volts (±10 %).  Like other products manufactured by Bosch Rexroth, the RD52.1-4B-160-R-W1-FW/S130 boasts a state-of-the-art hardware architecture, and overall, this unit conforms with the IP 20 degree of protection.
