The RD51.2-5B-007-L-A2-FW is a new generation drive controller designed by Rexroth Indramat to carry out automation control in the industrial servo system. This device can control the speed, acceleration, torque output, and power output of synchronous and induction motors used in the servo system. The RD51.2-5B-007-L-A2-FW is also designed according to the American and European quality standards; it contains a high metal content; thus, it can be easily recycled and used in the production of other industrial devices after its usefulness as an industrial controller has been exhausted. The electrical components of this converter can generate a leakage current of about 3.5 Amperes; thus, it should be effectively connected to a grounding system before it is operating. The firmware module of this controller is not supplied with other parts of the device; it has been to be separately ordered by the operator as a spate supposition depending on the machine the controller is to be operated with.

The RD51.2-5B-007-L-A2-FW can generate a power output as high as 7 kilowatts through the industrial servo motor. This industrial controller requires a rated curret of about 13 Amperes for optimum operation; it can also work with an input current as high as 26 Amperes. This controller requires an external power supply system for optimum operation; this allows the controller to operate without any line supply voltage connection.

This controller has a total weight of 6.5 kilograms; it is about 440 millimeters long and 90 millimeters wide. The heat produced in the housing of this converter is regulated via forced ventilation; thus, operators should ensure a minimum distance of 80 millimeters is kept between the converter and all other parts of the servo system.
