The Bosch Rexroth RD51.2-4B-018-L-A2-FW/S122 is a RD500 series universal drive. When the drive is connected to three-phase 380 to 480 Volts AC input it delivers 18.5 kilowatts of output power. When the drive is connected to three-phase 200 to 230 Volts AC input it delivers 9 kilowatts of output power. The is based on a converter with built-in brake chopper. The drive also supports additional functions such as starting lockout and external stand-by power. The starting lockout feature makes it easy to power down motors with a simple switch. The standby power feature allows the drive control electronics to operate without any line supply voltage connected to the converter. A 24 Volts DC external control power supply is required for this feature. The RD51.2-4B-018-L-A2-FW/S122 can be operated at two separate pulse frequencies which are 4 kilohertz an 8 kilohertz.
