The RD51.2-4B-015-P-A1-FW is a Bosch Rexroth three-phase drive. It supports multiple additional functions including standby power, starting lock-out and filter current feedback. The external standby power allows the control electronics to operate without any line supply voltage connected to the converter. A 24 Volts DC control power supply is required for the standby power. Power consumed from the 24 Volts external supply is 40 Watts and the startup current is 5 Amps. The RD51.2-4B-015-P-A1-FW is in full compliance with the EMC directives regarding noise immunity and noise emission according to the EMC product standard for electric drives. Features supported by the RD51.2-4B-015-P-A1-FW include additional 32-bit floating point processor for high performance applications, mathematical function elements, PID / PI controller, times, comparitors and ramp-function generators. Overload capability of the drive is 170% for 1 second.

The RD51.2-4B-015-P-A1-FW is based on a converter with brake chopper. The drive can be operated from three-phase AC mains with 380 to 480 Volts voltage. The rated drive power is 15 kilowatts. A heat dissipation panel on the drive assists with cooling. The drive firmware is ordered as a separate subposition. A type label affixed to the drive lists important and relevant information including the type code, the firmware version, the serial number, input specifications and output specifications. Two pulse frequencies are supported by the RD51.2-4B-015-P-A1-FW drive which are 4 kilohertz and 8 kilohertz. The drive housing has a protection rating of IP20 and is designed for cabinet mounting.
