The Rexroth REFUDrive 500 is a state-of-the-art three-phase drive system designed for various types of universally used motors, such as synchronous and induction motors. The RD 500 units are modular in design and can be mounted in cabinets because of this feature. They are designed for simple handling and are user-friendly, as seen in their attached operator panel's design and quick start-up.

The RD51.1-4N-075-L-NN-FW is a voltage frequency control converter with various interfaces for operating and parameterizing the drive. Its various interfaces are for operating, observing, and parameterizing the drive system. They include Interbus S remote bus, Profibus DP Slave, CANopen, with peer-to-peer coupling using a fiber optic cable.  It has a removable operator panel with a four-lined graphical display and is used to operate, monitor, and parameterize the drive. It also allows parameter sets to be copied and transferred to other devices. This device is recommended for use in ventilator and pump drives, conveyor belts, centrifuges, agitators, and grinding machines.

The features of the RD51.1-4N-075-L-NN-FW are based on internationally accepted protocols. It functions at an ambient temperature of 40°C according to DIN IEC 721-3-3. Its noise immunity and noise emission category are Class A according to EN 55011 as it has a radio interference suppression filter. Its degree of protection is IP 20 according to EN 60529, as it is protected from dust or objects over 12mm in size. It is also touch-proof but is not protected against water. It is equipped with a start inhibitor function in compliance with EN 60 204-1, thereby protecting the connected motor against accidental starting if a fault occurs and thus protecting the user.
