The RD 500 device series by Bosch Rexroth is a three-phase drive system designed to be used by various synchronous and induction motors. The RD51.1-4N-015-L-CF-FW is a converter unit in the RD 500 device series without a built-in brake chopper. Its cooling method is forced air cooling, and it has a high rate of heat transfer. When used under the specified conditions, the rated motor output of the converter is 15 kW. The recommended voltage for its operation is a three-phase AC voltage supply between 300V and 480V. It can also be operated at variable pulse width modulation frequencies. The converter should be used at an ambient temperature of 40° C, and the relative humidity should not exceed 90% to ensure adequate function.
