The RD51.1-4B-075-L-L1-FW is an industrial drive controller manufactured by Rexroth Indramat to carry out closed-loop motor control in the industrial servo system. This controller is produced by well-trained industrial operators; it features a housing unit that meets the IP20 protection category; it is thus completely protected from the penetration of solid foreign materials with an external diameter larger than 12 millimeters. This industrial drive controller is perfectly suited for a wide industrial machine such as textile, food processing, paper converting, and more. This servo drive is also very easy to control as it contains a sophisticated operator interface through which the operational status of the motor can be monitored, and configuration parameters can be sent into the motor in real-time. This industrial drive controller also contains an internal fan which helps to keep the temperature generated by the controller within the tolerated temperature range via natural convection.

The communication between this industrial drive controller and all other parts of the servo system is done according to the SERCOS communication interface renowned for its effectiveness and high speed. Under normal operating conditions, the RD51.1-4B-075-L-L1-FW industrial controller operates with an efficiency of about 95 percent; it can maintain this high efficiency for more than seven years without experiencing any major operational breakdown.
