The Bosch Rexroth RD51.1-4B-075-L-D1-FW is a converter-based drive controller. The main contactor on the drive is switched off when a fault occurs. This leads to the power section being switched off. The corresponding fault message is shown on the display. The fault is also displayed via the red alarm LED located on the front panel. Fault messages are logged onto the fault memory. The fault logs are retained even if the power supply is disconnected. A total of ten recent faults are saved in the fault memory. After a shutdown caused by a fault, the RD51.1-4B-075-L-D1-FW cannot be switched on until the fault is acknowledged. The fault can only be acknowledged once the cause of the fault is eliminated.
