The RD51.1-4B-001-L-VY-FW adopts the U/f curve control method for its drive control function. It is a converter unit that is operated with a 3-phase main supply AC voltage within limits of 380V and 480V (+/- 10%). It is equipped with a built-in brake chopper for voltage control and a mains filter for the suppression of radio interference. Its cooling is achieved using forced air cooling and the air used for this is required to be dust-free. When the line supply voltage is disconnected, a 24V standby power supply kicks in for operations such as parameterization of the control unit and the operation of field buses.
