The RAC 3.5-150-460-L00-W1-220 by Bosch Indramat, is rated for 150A current and 3xAC 460 50-60Hz voltage. Emergency circuit breakers come inbuilt along with the mains contactor. This unit comes with SERCOS interface with no additional encoder input or interface. Control electronics are rated for 220V 50-60Hz. Inbuilt fans are responsible for cooling with air being fed through an air shaft in the unit. If necessary, structural alterations can be made to allow cooling via outside air or through a hose. Mounting accessories necessary for the alterations are provided in the assembly kit but the hose needs to be bought separately.

All individual parameters needed for the plant and application are programmed at site. The AS programming module provided along with the main spindle drives allows for the easy exchange of the drives and assists in duplication of specifics for similar machines. Should servicing become necessary, the same programming module can be used as the drive parameters are stored on the module. If installed above 1000m above sea level there is a drop in values for rated torque and power. Humidity above 70% can cause water condensation with risk of damage to drive controllers. Temperature range is 5-45 C.

The RAC 3.5-150-460-L00-W1-220 diagnoses faults in essentially the same way by halting the drives to a standstill and then it cuts off power. Should a unit need to be replaced, the programming module can be simply removed and plugged into the replacement unit allowing the replacement to function as required. For faulty machines repair and exchange services are provided. Wake Industrial service personnel or appropriately trained personnel should perform repairs on the unit.
