The RAC 3.5-150-460-APO-W1-220 is a Bosch Rexroth main spindle drive RAC series motor that comes with a broad space range and an internal position control loop that can independently position the spindle. It has a frameless spindle motors of 1MB that gives nonstop power supply to the motor output shaft of 10 to 30 kW. This unit is perfect for machine tools that are numerically controlled. It also comes equipped with high resolution feedback with a maximum resolution of 1/4 000 000th of a revolution and a control panel.
This unit has the mains contactor and emergency-stop circuits integrated with supply network of 3 x AC 380 and 460V voltage for power electronics and a supply voltage rate for control electronics of ACC 220V/50….60Hz along with an operation provided at the frequency of 50/60Hz. This unit has a speed set of +/- 10 Volts to be enable connection to CNC controls. There is also a provision for an additional encoder input for connecting a spindle feedback to the internal position controller. This unit is supposed to be operated in the temperature between 5 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius and 1000 m over the sea level as its highest altitude for functioning. The maximum ideal level of humidity is class F, as per DIN 40 040.
This unit comes with protection against all unintentional objects with a diameter of over 50mm. it also has an inbuilt fan for cooling while the heat is emitted from the controller while functioning. The drive controller which is designed according to DIN VDE 0160 also additionally comes with protection against the risk of humidity and a one year warranty.
