The RAC 3.5-100-460-A0I-W1-220 is a central spindle drive controller that is digitally operated for asynchronous motor and second motor feedback machines. Digital controls make the main spindle drives in numerically controlled machine tools. This RAC 3.5 has 100A current rating and 3*Ac 380-460V; 50-60HZ rated supply voltage for power electronics. This tool provides a broad range of continuous power and high stiffness. Due to the servo-axis, it can also be managed at low speed. The RAC 3.5-100 version can be connected to a three-phase supply network for an emergency stop circuit. This deluxe spindle drive comes with a built-in fan for gentle cooling with inward and outward airflow and also feasible for hose cooling.

The device's set speed is analog +/-10V and 16 bit parallel digital incremental encoder output with 25 ways and has a SERCOS interface. The RAC 3.5-100-460-A0I-W1-220 spindle drive has no additional bleeder but comes with additional incremental encoder output. The temperature range for the RAC 3.5-100 is +5°C to +45°C and permit able to +55°C. The spindle's permissible humidity is as per DIN 40 040 that indicates the optimal efficiency of the spindle drive in a humidity-free dry room. For powerful force and torque, the spindle drive should not mount above an altitude of 1000 meters sea level.

Inside the control cabinet, the protection strategy is observed as per IP 10 in observance of EN 60529 (DIN VDE 0470), which indicates that no foreign object more significant than 50 mm can damage the controller. The mechanical kit M-RAC 3.5 with optional hose cooling comes with all mounting parts. For accurate working, make sure proper airing and mounting equipment are established in the control cabinet.
