The RAC 2.3-250-460-D0D-W1 model is used to control 2AD asynchronous main spindle motors and 1MB frameless spindle motors with a continuous output of 65 kW at the motor output shaft. The main spindle drive controller has a rated connection voltage of AC 460V and can take power from AC 3 × 400-460V power source at 50/60 Hz of the operating frequency with ±15% tolerance. The main spindle drive controller is characterized by stiffness and broad speed range with continuous power which makes it suitable for numerically controlled machine tools. The controller delivers the continuous regenerated output of 43 kW and peak regenerated output of 78 kW for a maximum of 5 seconds. The total weight of this model is approximately 121 kg other than the weight of the mounting frame and accessories. The model is designed to operate at the 400 A of rated current.

The model RAC 2.3-250-460-D0D-W1 comes with a built-in fan that uses a control cabinet outside air for cooling purposes. The 16-bit parallel digital speed set-point is used in this model without any additional encoder input. The model comes without any additional bleeder resistor and is protected with IP10 protection class which protects it from the penetration of solid particles having a diameter greater than 50 mm but it will not provide any resistance against liquids. The controller can work efficiently between the temperature ranges of +5 to +45 ͦ C with the maximum allowable temperature of 55 ͦC. The model can be installed at the maximum height of 1000 m above sea level and with the further increase in altitude its efficiency will decrease gradually.
