The RAC 2.3-250-380-LP0-W1 is a servo drive controller in the RAC drive series manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. It is a design type-3 and series-2 drive controller, with a type current rating of 400 Amps. This drive has a 3-phase rated connection voltage of 400 volts AC / 50 - 60Hz. It weighs 121 kg. In relation to the output shaft of the connecting servo motor, the continuous power output of the RAC 2.3-250-380-LP0-W1 is 65 kW, and its peak power output equals 78  kW. Similarly, the continuous regenerated power and peak regenerated power output of this equipment equals 43 kW and 78 kW respectively. 

The RAC 2.3-250-380-LP0-W1 has an additional encoder input for a second motor or spindle feedback. For speed, torque, power set-point parameterization and control communications, the RAC 2 drive uses the standardized digital SERCOS interface to exchange data and handle CNC control parameters. During storage and when in transit, the acceptable temperature range is between -30 ^oC to +85 ^oC. In the advent of excessive vibrations and impact, a vibration-damping protective base should be utilized during transportation. Also, the RAC 2.3-250-380-LP0-W1 must be kept dust and moisture-free at all time to preserve its internals. Without reducing the equipment rated data, the permissible ambient temperature ranges between 5 to 45 degrees C. At 80 percent reduced data, the maximum admissible surrounding air temperature range equals 55 degrees C. The RAC 2.3-250-380-LP0-W1’s protection class is IP 10, per EN 60 529.
