The RAC 2.3-200-380-A00-Z1 Main Spindle Drive Controller is a product of Rexroth. It has a voltage rating 3 x AC 400V at 50-60Hz and a current rating of 300 A. It can be connected with grounded 3 phase current network. Make sure that the drive’s voltage rating and mains voltage match with each other. It comes with a +/- 10 volt analogue speed point for connecting the controller with a standard CNC machine. Various microprocessors are used to control the main spindle drive. The keypad on its control panel is used to set or change the controller’s parameters. There are two kinds of framework which are used in the controller’s software: one is application related and other is for drive related parameters.

Long lasting power with a wide range of speed and stiffness are the key features of RAC 2 drive controllers. Machine tools that are numerically controlled should use these as their main spindle drives. The drive controller has an additional bleeder but has no additional interface and encoder input function.  The operational temperature range of the main spindle drive is 5 to 45 degrees C. Outside this temperature range, the values of main spindle drive begins to vary. Places such as workshops that are present in cold-moderate or dry warm climates are ideal for operating the drive. Keep the drive away from water as it can damage it. It is equipped with a built in fan for cooling down its temperature and comes with one year warranty period.
