The RAC 2.3-200-380-A00-W1 is part of the RAC 2 motor spindle drive controller series, produced by Indramat. It controls the digital aspect of the Indramat Asynchronous main spindle motors and it corresponds to its specific spindle motors in their series. The controller has a total weight of about 125kg with the mounting frame and cooling hose accessories weighing about 2kg each, and the drive controller itself weighing 121kg.

It has electrical parameters such as the rated connection voltage which  is 3×AC 400V, 50-60Hz, -15/+10% and current rated at 300A. Other parameters of the RAC 2.3-200-380-A00-W1 controller as relates to the motor output shaft include an continuous output of 55kW. The regeneration output is 37kW and it reaches a climax of 55kW for only 5 seconds. It has a cooling unit that is a built-in fan. The interface is analogue (+/-10%). This controller comes without additional encoder input, additional interface or additional bleeder. Insulation and current have been tested and have met the requirements of the VDE 0160.

The environmental parameters that the controller is regulated by are the permanent humidity which in accordance with humidity category is rated F as per the DIN 40 040. The storage temperature as well as transportation temperature are localized to -30°C to 85°C. Its setup altitude is delimited to 1000 above sea level. It can be operated in a permanent surrounding temperature range of 5°C to 45°C according to its rated data. Whenever its rated data is reduced to 80%, the maximum permanent surrounding temperature range increases from 45°C to 55°C.
