The RAC 2.2-200-460-API-W1 model comes with the protection category of IP 10 which protects it from the penetration of 50 mm solid objects but doesn’t protect it from water and dust particles. Protection class of IP 54 is used for the inside of the control cabinet and if the RAC control cabinet is cooled with inside air it will not affect its protection category. The drive controller can take power directly from 3 phase supply with 460V-type: 3 x AC 400 V, 50 Hz, and ± 15% or 3 x AC 460 V, 60 Hz, and ± 10% augmentation. The drive controller delivers the continuous output of 55 kW and continuous regeneration output of 37 kW at 300 A of continuous current. The weight of the controller is 121 kg while the weight of the mounting frame and accessories is approx. 4 kg.

The model RAC 2.2-200-460-API-W1 comes with the permissible ambient temperature range from +5 to +45 ͦC for efficient working while their storage and transport temperature range from -30 to +85 ͦC. The controller can deliver the standard output at a maximum altitude of 1000 meters above sea level. The controller comes with the analog speed set-point of ±10 V for connections. Additional encoder input for spindle feedback is used in this model for spindle synchronization. The incremental encoder output is used for position control through the CNC control during the C-axis operation which makes it suitable for CNC machine spindle drive.
