The RAC 2.2-150-380-AP0-W1 is a three-phase motor controller operating at a voltage level of 400 volts and a frequency of 50-60Hz. The controller is designed in a compact form having a dimension of the length of about 1000mm and width of about 460mm. The inside of the control cabinet has the protection class of IP 54. This protection class is affected if the controller is cooled with outside air rather than the inside air.

This controller has the capability of operating two motors at a time with full control functions. It comprises an additional encoder input that connects the spindle feedback to the internal position controller and helps to compute a multi-drive system effectively. This controller has the analog system to set the speed set-point in the form of voltage amplitude: for instance, +/- 10 volts for connection to conventional CNC controls. This controller does not contain any additional interfaces for more versatile operation.

This controller comprises a built-in fan to ensure the temperature to be within the operating range of 5℃ to 45℃. This embedded fan falls under the protection category of IP 24. This model does not contain any bleeder resistor across the power supply so precautions should be taken against electric shocks caused due to capacitor discharge. This controller has a high degree of safety as current and insulation is tested in accordance with VDE 0160.
