The MSS202D-0170-FA-N0CN-NNNN is a three-phase synchronous motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the MSS Synchronous IndraDyn H Motors series. In automated production cells, the unit converts servo drive commands into direct rotary torque for positioning, milling, or handling axes that run under continuous duty. Liquid cooling is built into the stator so heat is removed as output rises, and integration with IndraDrive controllers is simplified through a prefabricated connection cable that carries both power and feedback lines.

The rotor withstands an axial magnetic force of 420 N, while the laminated stator supports a radial magnetic force of 2,758 N. These limits show how much magnetic attraction the surrounding machine structure must counter when the motor is energized. Liquid circulation through the cooling port removes heat from the stator during operation. A required flow of 4.0 l/min at a coolant supply pressure of 6 bar keeps winding temperature within the allowable range, and the hydraulic circuit must tolerate a pressure drop of 1.6 bar across the internal channels to maintain that flow. The cooling connectors are arranged axially to simplify manifold routing and reduce hose bending.
