MKE098B-058-CP1-AUNN is a high dynamics servo motor designed by Rexroth Indramat for high-precision control and handling of machine tools, metal forming machines. It has a finely compact design suitable for adverse conditions according to the IP65 protection class, meaning, it can work under a low pressure water jet and also according to the DIN EN 60034-1 insulation 155 class with ventilation openings.

The MKE098B-058-CP1-AUNN operates at a very wide range of speed; requires a continuous standstill current of 12.4 ampere at 60K to output a continuous torque of 12 newton-meter. The maximum current tolerable from the mains is 55.9 ampere with a maximum velocity output of 5000 radii-per-minute, with a shaft key according to DIN 6885-1. Owing to its brushless design and bearings grease lubrication for its entire lifetime to manage friction and prevent wear in shaft during operation, hence, its totally maintenance free.

The MKE098B-058-CP1-AUNN industrial servo motor is highly reliable  leakage free, as it has a shaft sealing ring to prevent leakage of oil to the outside environment. It uses an optical encoder; multi turn absolute Hiper face with 128 increments (M1) for high resolution and accuracy.  Optical encoder is easier to improve accuracy and resolution hence it has broad spectrum of activity. It has high overload capabilities due to it head dissipation mechanism in temperature control. The MKE098B-058-CP1-AUNN is designed fit to work outdoors and under adverse conditions and explosive areas but not suitable for subversive use. It has a maximum current input of 55.9 amperes and an ambient temperature of 40 degrees-Celsius, anything above can lead to shock or explosion.
