The MKE047B-144-GP1-BENN is a state-of-the-art motor manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. This motor is a highly compact device produced according to the IP65 protection category, thus it can operate quite smoothly in hazardous areas. The MKE047B-144-GP1-BENN fulfills the specifications according to ATEX  and UL/CSA in one class. This motor features a brushless design, it can operate for up to five years without requiring any maintenance operation. This motor can also be configured to operate with a wide range of industrial machines such as packaging machines, food processing machines, and metal converting machines. The operation of this motor is user-friendly, however, it should be carried out by well-trained personnel who has gone through the documentation of the motor.

The MKE047B-144-GP1-BENN industrial motor is integrated with a holding brake which helps to retain the load connected to the motor shaft, the holding brake is an electrically released brake that is used to hold the motor axes at a standstill and when the ”controller enables” signal is off. The shaft of the motor is a plain shaft integrated with a sealing ring and a shaft key designed according to DIN 6885-1, the shaft key helps to securely connect the motor to the rotating machine component. This motor also contains a Singleturn EnDat2.1 optical encoder with 2,048 increments. This motor is available in two major housing designs; The Design E and Design U. The motor is covered with black paint which protects the motor enclosure from rust and corrosion.

Special grease-lubricated bearings are integrated into this industrial motor, these bearings have a service life of about 30,000 hours.
