The MKE045B-144-GG1-KN is a new generation servo motor designed by Rexroth Indramat to meet the power requirement of a broad range of industrial production systems. This electrical motor is manufactured by highly trained industrial operators according to the international quality standard. The enclosure of this industrial motor is designed to meet the IP65 protection class; thus, it offers the electrical components of the motor sufficient protection allowing it to operate efficiently in a hazardous environment. This motor can meet the operational requirements of different types of industrial machines such as textile machines, food processing machines, assembly systems, and packaging systems. The MKE045B-144-GG1-KN motor contains a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring, the shaft of the motor is integrated with special grease-lubricated ball bearings, which helps to reduce the frictional heat generated at the motor shaft during the operation of the servo system.

The MKE045B-144-GG1-KN industrial servo motor is coated with a prime black coat which is resistant to dilute acidic and alkaline substances; however, if the motor is required for food processing machines, then an uncoated motor can be specially ordered by the user. The MKE045B-144-GG1-KN connects to the industrial motor through two main types of electrical cables, the motor feedback cable and the power cable; these two electrical cables enter into the motor through a terminal box which has been integrated into the housing of this industrial motor.

The MKE045B-144-GG1-KN motor is connected to a holding brake with a holding torque of about 2.2-newton-meters; this holding brake helps hold the load connected to the motor shaft in place; during an emergency stop.
