Two of these are air cooled via natural convection and cover the low and medium torque spectrum. The 60K version has a rated torque of 7.7 Nm while the 100K version has 18.1 Nm. The main difference between them is that the 60K motor comes with an additional packing insulation. The third variant is designed to cater for clients requiring a higher torque and power. Its 60K and 100K versions are both manufactured to deliver a rated torque of 30.6 Nm, which has several industrial applications. This particular variant of the MKD112B-048-KG1-AN is equipped with special surface cooling design provisions and is much better at handling heat.

Some other specifications of this synchronous motor include a rated speed of 2,800 RPM, total mass of just 34 Kg, and a convenient ambient temperature operating range of 0-40 oC.
