Designed to operate in harsh industrial environments the MKD090B-047-KG2-KN is a configured AC Servo Motor. This digital motor comes equipped with integrated speed and position monitoring mechanism as well as a holding brake. The rated speed of this motor is 3500 rpm and its characteristic speed is 3200 rpm. With this motor, you will be able to achieve a maximum mechanical power (torque) of 13.5 Nm at 100K motor over-temperature and 12.0 Nm at 60K motor over-temperature. However, the maximum achievable output of this motor can be increased to 15.0 Nm with the help of additional cooling blowers for surface cooling.

The surface cooling blowers are offered as an optional part and can be installed with the motor for its radial cooling. 230V and 115V rated blower units are available for this motor. The holding brake incorporated in this motor offers a maximum holding torque of 18.0 Nm in a fully actuated condition. For holding brakes, 24 VDC supply is required that can be acquired from the associated motor drive controller. The rated current of the holding brake is 0.71 amperes. The continuous standstill current required by this motor while operating in natural cooling mode remains around 17.2 amperes.

 The MKD090B-047-KG2-KN motor has 4 x pole pairs and its rated winding resistance is 0, 74 Ω at 20°C.
