The MKD041B-143-GG1-KN is a new generation AC Servo Motor produced by Rexroth Indramat. This digital servo motor offers a cost-effective automation solution to a broad range of industrial production systems. The motor is particularly popular in industrial machines because of its ability to rotate over a broad speed range and also its high operational reliability and flexibility. The drive can be applied in industrial applications with a low motor speed requirement and also those with high motor speed requirements. The MKD041B-143-GG1-KN servo motor's internal components are entirely enclosed and protected from foreign matter and dirt; thus, the servo motor requires little maintenance; it features improved efficiency and reduces heat and noise generation. 

The MKD041B-143-GG1-KN servo motor uses two major types of connections for its operation, the power connection and the feedback connection. The power connection helps bring electric current from the mains electricity into the servo motor. On the other hand, the motor feedback connection transmits digital signals from the servo motor to the drive controller; It helps the drive controller keep a tab on the operation of the servo motor. The servo motor contains special temperature sensors that monitor the drive's operating temperature; these sensors help the drive controller and the control unit regulate the temperature in the motor into the tolerable temperature range.

The MKD041B-143-GG1-KN servo motor contains a resolver feedback and a shaft coupled with a shaft sealing ring. The motor features a holing brake, which uses a rated current of 0.34 Amperes and a holding torque of 2.2-Newton Meters. The operation of the MKD041B-143-GG1-KN servo motor is subject to the ambient temperature and the level of elevation at which the motor is operated.  The standard operation requirement of the servo motor is specified in the motor's documentation.
