Rexroth Company produces the MKD025B-144-KP1-UN MKD AC motor. Like other MKD motors, it is intended for use with digital intelligent drive controllers from Rexroth. This forms a system that has extensive functionality needed in machine tools, packaging machines and food, printing and paper industries, and handling and automation. With it, the factory benefits from high operational reliability, maintenance-free operation thanks to the brushless motor design, continuous start and stop operation with high repeat frequencies owing to the electronic commutation, and easy cabling designed for numerous installation orientations. The MKD025B-144-KP1-UN features special magnetic materials that allow for the design of a low inertia motor. This makes it an ideal option for demanding applications that require high acceleration and deceleration.

This type comes in a basic design consisting of a rotor shaft, holding brake (optional), a stator with winding, and a rotor with permanent magnets. Its compact design offers automation in a small package without the need for extensive floor space. The MKD025B-144-KP1-UN has a flange size of 54mm and a centering diameter of 40mm. it features a natural convectional cooling mode, a nominal speed of 9000min-1, and a peak current of 23A. It features a continuous torque and current at standstill of 0.9Nm and 5-1A respectively.
