The MDD115 series of digital servo motors is a part of the Bosch Rexroth industrial automation program specially designed to solve automation challenges. The devices such as digital AC servo motors, synchronous servo motors, and linear motors are a part of this program. The MDD115C-015-N2L-130PB0 model is permanently magnet-excited motor with electronic commutation. These magnets are made of rare-earth or iron-oxide metals that allow construction of motor with low moment of inertia. The MDD115C digital AC servo motor has a high degree of reliability with its brushless design. The bearing use is lifetime-lubricated saving the cost of maintenance or downtime. This state-of-the-art motor can be used in poor environmental conditions or directly under the machine working area with exposure to coolant or soluble oil emulsions. This digital servo motor is protected against overheating damage, thanks to the temperature sensors used in the winding. The MDD115C digital AC servo motor uses a digital servo feedback system to continuously monitor and control the shaft position.
