The MAD130D-0150-SA-M2-HH0-35-N1 is a model of the asynchronous MAD motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Its features include a multi-turn absolute encoder and a plain output shaft. Its encoder has the EnDat 2.1 interface and generates sine/cosine signals (1 Vss) with 2,048 periods per revolution and absolute period assignment within 4,096 revolutions. It also retains the axis position even when the power is switched. Thanks to its data memory, the motor’s startup is rapid, as it stores the relevant parameters, setting them on startup. The plain output shaft in the MAD model provides a non-positive, non-floating shaft-hub connection with zero backlash. Its nominal speed is 2,000 revolutions per minute, but it can attain a maximum speed of 7,500 revolutions per minute.

Two integrated KTY84-130 thermal sensors protect the MAD130D-0150-SA-M2-HH0-35-N1 from permanent damage caused by excessive temperatures. They are permanently installed in the motor winding and trigger protective mechanisms at 110°C and 120°C. This induction motor is equipped with mounted axial fan units that form its cooling system. They create air currents that travel over the motor’s surface, guided by air baffles. The motor’s universal standard bearing type absorbs low to medium radial and axial forces and ensures its noiseless running. This bearing type consists of deep groove ball bearings, which are characterized by their ability to withstand high rotational speeds without premature wear or excessive heat generation. The bearings' mechanical service life is 30,000 operating hours.
