Product Description

The MAD130D-0150-SA-M2-EK0-05-N1 from Rexroth Bosch is a 155 Nm AC motor that has a power rating of 24.3 kW. This motor can be used as both a spindle motor and a servo motor depending on the application. The MAD130D-0150-SA-M2-EK0-05-N1 has 3 pole pairs with Each pole generating a magnetic field, and the interaction between the rotating magnetic field and the stator windings creates torque, causing the motor shaft to rotate.

This particular motor features an electrically clamped holding brake used for stopping the motor with a transmittable torque of 300 Nm bringing the motor shaft to a halt. The maximum permissible braking energy the brake can absorb is 70000 Watts-second. The brake requires a 24 Volts DC supply to operate and draws around 2 amperes of current.  The motor can also provide a standstill torque of 375 Nm at maximum speed. With a thermal time constant of 55 minutes this motor can run continuously on heavy duty mode for approximately 55 minutes without needing to stop. The motor also features an Axial blower fan that sucks in the air from the front of the shaft and allows the air to flow through the motor and exiting from the back.

The motor has an S6 classified duty cycle, making the motor not operate steadily with a specified sequence of loads and rest period. The motor operates at 44% when on the load and 56% is allocated for no load or rest period. The motor has a low-noise design with only 75 dB over a distance of 1m. For smooth and noiseless operations it is recommended by the user to perform maintenance after every 30000 hours or 15000 hours if used under heavy duty load.
