The MAD100D-0050-SA-M2-AP1-05-N1 is a high-power-density motor from the MAD series manufactured by Rexroth Bosch. These MAD series motors are designed for specific uses, and each motor is only compatible with a particular machine. Based on the chosen cooling techniques, the Indradyn motor comes in two variants: MAD and MAF. The MAD Indradyn motor is from the MAD version and uses a connected fan unit to cool the motor by forcing air across its surface. The precise dimensions of this motor are 100D.

The motor has a specific type of winding (0050) that is used to create the magnetic field required to rotate the rotatory shaft. The 0500 type of winding determines the motor torque and speed (3000 rpm maximum). The constant motor torque is 8.52 Nm/A at 20 °C, and the rated torque is 70 Nm. The high-resolution encoding system is developed by the single-turn encoder. The S2G encoder used in the motor is perfect for monitoring the rotor's 360° rotation. The shaft transfers mechanical energy to other integrated devices. The shaft sealing increases efficiency by acting as a barrier and stopping fluid leaks and contamination.

The electrical connection has been fixed to side A of the motor to supply it with current. The flange-mounted Indramat motor is equipped with flanges that are fastened to the motor because there is no foot mounting involved. The standard ball bearings with R-type vibration are fixed in the motor. These bearings enable the motor to bear both radial and axial loads. The motor's rotation is stopped by the electronically released brakes (ERS brakes) when the power is turned off, either intentionally or unintentionally.
